BISHAM: The sub-divisional officer Peshawar Electric Supply Company (Pesco) Bisham sub-division Muhammad Ali has said that operation against the power thieves under the new policy of the government continued for second week in the circle and several cases had been lodged.
The SDO was talking reporters here on Tuesday at Bisham. He said that they have expedited the operation against the power thieves on the direction of Pesco high ups after the current government clear decision taken meant to streamline the Wapda and provide smooth power supply to consumers and people get admission for meters and use legal electricity for their need.
He said several cases against had been lodged against the illegal power users and also dozens of illegal power connections disconnected in a week operation.
The SDO added that the operation would be continued till the last illegal power connection, so that the Bisham city long standing issue could resolve.
