SHANGLA: Environmental protection agency of Swat on Monday sealed offices of tehsil municipal administration, medical superintendent of the tehsil headquarters hospital, Puran, a private hospital and a hotel over different reasons.
The action was taken by agency’s assistant director Ibrar Ahmed on directives of environmental protection tribunal.
The assistant director sealed tehsil municipal administration and TMO offices for not cleaning the bazaar and taking the garbage out of the area.
He also sealed the office of medical superintendent of THQ hospital for absence from duty during office timings. Also, a private hospital in Bisham city was sealed for violating environmental protection laws.
A hotel in Bisham Bazaar was also sealed for connecting the sewerage line to Khan Khwar River.
