SHANGLA: Shangla police on Friday has directed to all filling stations in the district to no fill up fuel tanks of the motorcyclist of those who not keeping the helmet on their heads for meant to control the motorcycle accidents in the region.
A circular was issued by the district police officer Syed Rasool Shah here on Friday, says that for meant to save the youngster’s lives and saving them from crippling they took the decision to instruct the filling stations to not fill fuel tanks of the motorcyclists.
It said, the motorcycle accidents are increasing with every passing day due to the motorcyclists reckless riding and youngsters losts their precious lives.
According to the circular, regional police officer, Malakand division, Muhammad Ijaz had taken notice and directed to respective DPOs for action against the motorcyclists those not keeping helmet on their heads during riding motorcycles.
The DPO Shangla also directed to heads of all police stations of the district to daily for three hours conduct action against the motorcyclists at front of police stations and do not release them until they do not bring a helmet.
The DPO also appealed to parents of the youth to instruct their children that to be careful while riding motorcycles and use the helmet to avoid any untoward accident.
