GILGIT: Gilgit Baltistan reported 8 new positive cases on Thursday, taking the provincial tally to 245, 05 more recovered from the infection.
According to the GB health department, four new cases emerged in Diamer, 2 in Skardu, 1 each in Astore and Nagar.
It said, five patients of covid-19 were also discharged from the hospitals isolation wards and sent to their homes.
GB has now total 245 cases out of which 59 are active, 183 recovered and 03 deaths, while lockdown has been partially eased in the province.
