The Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training MOFEPT in collaboration with UNESCO, is launching an exciting initiative to introduce smart classrooms in 40 girls’ schools across Gilgit-Baltistan. This project aims to enhance the quality of education and provide a more engaging learning experience for students.
In the first phase, five districts have been selected: Nagar, Ghizer, Shigar, Diamer, and Kharmang. This initiative is part of the government’s efforts to promote education and digital literacy, especially among girls in remote areas.
By introducing smart classrooms, students will have access to digital resources, interactive learning tools, and a more immersive learning environment. This project has the potential to revolutionize education in Gilgit-Baltistan and empower young girls to become active participants in the digital economy.
