KP minister inaugurates more uplift projects in Shangla

The Minister for Labor and Human Rights Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Shaukat Yousafzai inaugurated various development projects in district Shangla during two days visit and announced more projects

The Provincial Minister inaugurated several completed development projects including Government Higher Secondary Girls School Dherei, Secondary School Pagorai, Alpuri Jirga Hall, Dherei Bazar Street Light and approved a government primary school for Faiza area of Shangla.

On this occasion, Shaukat Yousafzai also paid a surprise visit to Kodamang Susube Bridge and directed the concerned authorities to ensure quality work and complete the project on time.

Shaukat Yousafzai, while addressing the local elders, said that Shangla will be developed by eliminating educational backwardness.

He said that there are many opportunities in the tourism sector and under the special interest and leadership of Chief Minister Mahmood Khan, they would bring a tourism revolution in Shangla.

Yousafzai said that he will try his best to bring Shangla at par with other developed districts.

He said that people were facing difficulties due to lack of clean drinking water and communication roads in remote areas despite provision of huge funds for initiating projects still the issues exist and he would make efforts to address with priority, particularly ensuring fundamental rights, health, water, access.

The provincial minister added that Chief Minister Mehmood Khan approved the Shangla Development Authority, gave status to Kana Tehsil and Shangla University recently that will change the destiny of Shangla and people’s lives to get jobs and facilities which would ease local’s lives.

He said that in the past, the rulers kept Shangla backward and enjoyed power for a long time, due to which Shangla was stuck in the mire of difficulties but today by the grace of Allah, Shangla was on the path of development.

He further said that the era of plastic pipe and excavator politics was over now in Shangla and we believe in practical politics.

Shaukat Yousafzai said that the present imported government was against the provincial government and they were engaged in conspiracies and their wish was to implement Governor’s rule in the province but the decision to impose governor’s rule had been thwarted by the power of the people.

The provincial minister said that the assemblies will be dissolved whenever Imran Khan signaled and our resignations were ready at all times.

He said the current imported government was not capable of running the country and the longer he stays in the government, the problems will increase. It would better to announce new elections soon.
