Minister ordered probe in corruption allegations

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa labor and culture minister Shaukat Yousafzai on Tuesday directed the deputy commissioner and the district police officer to investigate the matter of innocent people being looted allegedly by a gang which is using his name for providing them jobs.
The KP minister who is MPA elect from Shangla issued the order to DC Shangla and DPO Shangla on Tuesday after some video material went viral on social media about taking money for providing jobs by an alleged gang.
In a letter written to the DC and the DPO, the minister said whoever was involved in looting the common people in his name should be arrested and dealt with under the law
Minister said in the letter available with this correspondent, that he had been receiving constant complaints from the general public about receiving money on his name and promising of providing jobs which needed to be probed.
It said any person or gang involved in this heinous crime should be investigated through a special branch or any other investigation agency and strict action should be taken to eliminate the illegal practices and corruption.
Minister said neither he support such workers or leaders nor any person who involved in such illegal practices.
