Man kills wife in Shangla

SHANGLA: A man shot dead his wife after had a quarrel with her over domestic dispute here on Wednesday at Mian Kaly area of Alpuri tehsil in Shangla, the alleged accused later surrendered to the police.

According to the First Information Report FIR, that Samiullah of Mian Kaly, Pir Abad, said in his statement that he had knot in tie with his wife Huda 15 years ago and had five children and he was working as worker at Dara Adam Khel as coalminer and returned last Sunday from the workplace to home.

The accused said in the FIR that he had a quarrel with his wife over domestic issue which made him enraged then took his spouse to toilet and took out pistol from trouser and shot her dead.

The accused, narrated that he was fleeing to Peshawar after committing the crime but when reached Mingora, Swat, he realised and felt embarrassed on his act and came back to handover himself to police for his crime.

The alleged killer of his spouse, also handed over the pistol used in the crime and also 25 cartridges, while police lodged an FIR and begin further interrogation into the case.
