A person was killed and five others critically injured when an Ashar Kot bound pickup fell into a gorge at Sundvi area of Puran tehsil here on Monday.
Local police said that a pickup registration number IDN-3258 was heading towards Ashar Kot area when it reached Sundvi it plunged into a gorge as a result Muhammad Zahid of Ashar Kot has died and five other people were injured.
Police said, local people, have rushed the scene soon after the incident and retrieved the dead body and wounded persons and shifted them to Pir Muhammad Khan Shaheed Hospital, Aloch Puran.
They said, the injured were identified as driver Rasheed, Fazila Naaz, Sana Bibi, Nasira and Nora Nishata residents of Ashar Kot, Puran.
The injured were referred to Saidu Teaching Hospital, Swat after provision them first aid at the facility.
