Man arrested for assaulting miner girl in Shangla

Shangla police here on Monday claimed to have arrested suspect of miner girl assault case in Shahpur.
According to a statement issued by the district police officer Syed Rasool Shah, they arrested suspect Inzimam who had allegedly assaulted a miner girl in Koz Kana the other day.
It said, that the miner girl’s father Sultan Mehmood that his eight-year-old daughter had gone to bazaar in Koz Kana for bringing some daily use commodities, and when she was returning a man identified as Inzimam forcibly took her to a stream where he assaulted her.
The complainant said another man tried to catch hold of the accused, but he managed to escape.
According to the statement, after round the clock efforts of police they arrested the suspect from Shahpur area and sent him behind bars.
It added that case has been registered against the suspect under section 376,511 of child protection act 2010 in Karora police station.
Police also begins further interrogation in the case, while the accused would be produced before the court today on Tuesday.
