A man was abducted in Maira area of Bisham tehsil on Saturday night.
Sub-divisional police officer, Bisham, Mohammad Zaman told The Northern Post that a man identified as Imdadullah of Maira was apparently abducted by unknown persons while he was returning home from Bisham in a car.
He said the abducted man was wanted to Pazan police in a case of kidnapping a girl from Jambera area of Battagram district.
He said he had obtained BBA from a court, and hearing of his case was scheduled for Monday (today). The police suspected that the man’s abduction was staged to avoid his court hearing.
