The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government spokesperson, Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif, has launched a scathing critique against the Punjab government and Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, accusing her of squandering national wealth on poorly executed projects. He stated that the “fake Chief Minister” has “plastered the national treasury” while attempting to plaster roads, referencing the alleged mismanagement of development funds.
Barrister Saif highlighted the Lahore Green Line project as a reflection of Maryam Nawaz’s development initiatives, claiming that the first rainfall exposed the flaws in the multi-million-rupee project designed for bikers. He sarcastically suggested that Maryam Nawaz needs special training from Ali Amin Gandapur, the KP Chief Minister, to learn how to execute quality development projects.
The KP spokesperson further alleged that the Sharif family has a long history of prioritizing commissions over actual work in development projects. He criticized Maryam Nawaz for wasting taxpayers’ money on what he called “TikTok projects,” designed more for show than for public benefit.
Barrister Saif concluded by asserting that all of Punjab’s projects, much like its “fake Chief Minister,” are proving to be fraudulent, further accusing Maryam Nawaz of incompetence and mismanagement.
