SHANGLA: Second positive case reported in Shangla, the virus detected in a Pharmacy technician of Baily Baba.
After fully recovery of the only coronavirus patient at Puran tehsil, the district Shangla is remained with zero positive cases and 24 negative resulted cases in out of 39, however, a positive case reported on Friday evening.
Deputy Commissioner Shangla, Imran Hussain Ranjha, said out of 39 suspected cases since the outbreak in which 01 was resulted positive at Puran however he was recovered and discharged from the isolation ward.
He said, first suspected case was reported from Bisham tehsil on Friday and the patient had been taken to THQ hospital Bisham and his family was also quarantined, while the patient village was also sealed.
The Pharmacy technician is first ever positive case emerged in Alpuri tehsil and has been isolated at DHQ hospita, in Alpuri.
DC Shangla said, with 03 new suspected cases the district suspected cases tally has been taken to 39 in which 24 resulted negative and 14 results awaited.
Meanwhile, a delegation of local elders met the DC Shangla on Friday and informed the DC about their grievances regarding Ihsas Program for poor people.
The delegation led by PML-N district president, Intikhab Alam, requested the DC Shangla to review the process is being carried in the district not transparent and number of poor deserving people left in the survey.
DC Shangla on the occasion assured the delegation and asked them to inform the deserving people to get them register with local revenue officials for the program.
