Eight people, including women and children, are severely injured on the Pak-Afghan Highway near the Khyber Pass, when a vehicle transporting a wedding party (Barat) overturned.
According to hospital and police sources, the injured were immediately rushed to the District Headquarters Hospital in Landy Kotal, where they are currently receiving medical treatment. The victims are reported to be Afghan nationals.
Authorities have confirmed that all necessary medical assistance is being provided to the injured. Further details about the cause of the accident are yet to be disclosed as investigations continue.
