Eid gifts distributed among orphans in Shangla

A non-profit organization Jwandoon welfare Foundation on Monday distributed Eid gifts among over 80 orphans and needy children at Chakesar tehsil of Shangla.

The Eid Gifts consisting of cloth, par of footwear, Mehandi and other Eid stuff distributed among the orphans called from the various village councils of the tehsil Chakesar and Puran at Chakesar.

Niaz Khan, Chairman Jwandoon Foundation, said the Eid gifts were given to the orphans and needy children meant to bring smiles and joy on the faces of orphans as a huge number of orphans in the district had nothing to buy clothes for the Eid festival.
He said they support and help orphans and needy people with the help of local community and philanthropists.
Adding it will be continued till last orphan to be given the Eid stuff.

BUTCHERS FINED: The Bisham assistant commissioner, Muhammad Jawad Asif conducted raids on the butchers shops on Monday and heavy fines imposed on several butchers who were selling the meat above the government fixed price.
AC Bisham Muhammad Jawad Asif, told journalists that following the public complaints he conducted raids in the Bisham bazaar and inspected the rates and quality of the meat in the butchers shops and found several butchers violating the government fixed rate for selling the meat of Per kilogram and also not covering the meat.

He said he had warned the butchers to avoid fleecing the customers and selling meat in unhygienic conditions, otherwise he would take strict legal action against them.
