Education plan launched in Shangla

The Shangla deputy commissioner and the education department launched the district education plan 2019-20 on Friday.
Adam Smith International and UK’s Department for International Development representatives were also present. Both the organisations are providing technical support to the education department for promoting quality education in the district.
DC Shangla Imran Hussain Ranjha presided over the ceremony, while District education officer Male Muhammad Amin and DEO female Zubaida Khatak were present on the occasion.
A statement issued from the DC office said the district education plan was meant to improve the performance of district education offices and facilitating the officials. It said under the district education plan, targets were set at the school, circle, subdivision and district levels, and based on the results, the district performance scorecard was determined. Circle and sub-divisional officers are ranked at the intra-district performance scorecard meeting held in each district each month.
