CM KP Mahmood Khan announces university, Zone-6 in Shangla

SHANGLA: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chief minister Mahmood Khan has said that the country’s is on the right track now and heading towards uplift as its economy improved and next two years prime minister Imran Khan would take the country to next level of development.

The KP chief minster was addressing a public gathering at Puran on Monday, where minister for labour and culture, Shaukat Yousafzai, former MPA Abdul Munim and other PTI’s leaders also addressed.

Chief minister said it was the PML-N KP’s president Amir Muqam native town where he did nothing during his tenures and he regretted that still there were bunch of problems local people faced.

Mahmood Khan called on Amir Muqam to join Pakistan Tehrik-I-Insaf as he had told in the 2018 elections that he would admit his defeat by joining that party which defeated him.

“The country is now on the right track and heading towards development in the leadership of PM Imran Khan. We in the KP also worked day and night to take out the province from economical crises and we did,” He claimed.

He said a very soon the KP government would achieve another milestone of initiating Education and farmers cards in the province.

KP Chief executive, said for the first time 72 Lakh tourists visited KP’s tourist hotspots which had contributed to the province economy in billions of rupees.

Mr Khan said that he had allocated Rs 21 Billion for Shangla district during his three years tenures for the various projects some were completed and some were under construction.

He said in his further two years of tenure he would given the share of Shangla district as it was neglected in the development as like some other districts, however, he distributed funds equally to all districts.

The KP chief minister on the occasion announced several mega projects including establishment of University of Shangla, Bisham-Swat Khwazakhela Motorway, Upgradation of Kana tehsil, establishment of degree college in Puran and girls college in a building in Alpuri.

The CM KP also assured the Shangla people that formation of new Zone for the jobs employment under public service commission, Zone-6 was underway and as soon as approved by its committee he would announced that goods news for Shangla and its neighbouring districts very soon.

He also announced upgradation of the district headquarters hospital, Alpuri, while opening all the district basic health units and Rural Health centers for round the clock services.

CM KP also announced four mega roads projects for recently discovered tourists places in Shangla, making grid station operational and Rs 300 million for small developmental schemes.

He also announced long awaited uplift schemes of the Earthquake Reconstruction and Rehabilitation Authority Erra to be completed very soon for which the KP government would provide funds.

He said the Malam Jaba-Bazar Kot road would also be extended through which the Swat and Shangla both districts tourism would be boosted by easing travel to Malam Jaba.
