Call for removing ruble from Karakoram Highway

SHANGLA: Residents of Bisham city have demanded of the district administration to get removed rubles from Karakoram Highway in Bisham city which is left by contractor of the drain reconstruction project, causing troubles to pedestrians, school students.
They told journalists on Thursday that contractor had left the ruble on the international busy artery Karakoram Highway after digging it for reconstruction the drain.
Umar Hayat a local citizen said that he faced problem while walking to a bank in the bank square because half of the road was dumped with rubles along the drain.
He said it troubles public also the school going children as many of kids had been fallen down in it and sustained with injuries.
Zafar Ali Syed, an official at a local bank said that their customers faced severe problems due to the rubles lying along road and the drain was open and threat to public.
He said, contractor should remove the rubles as it as dig out from the drain and reconstruct the drain timely so that public could not in get in trouble.
Subhanullah, a driver stuck in a traffic jam due to the ruble said that the ruble covered half of the road which inconveniencing them too due to which traffic remained jam on the busy route.
Locals demanded early removal of rubles from the road and timely completion of the drain for easing walk along the Karakoram Highway in Bisham bazaar.
