The deputy commissioner Shangla, Fayaz Khan Sherpao, has imposed ban on cattle transportation from the district under section 144 for the next 60 days in connection of the upcoming Eidul Azha.
A notification was issued in this regard by the DC Shangla on Thursday said that it was reported that sacrificial animals were being transported to other districts from Shangla due to which prices of cattle had gone up.
The DC urged general public to avoid transportation of cattle outside the district as it would cause hike in prices of sacrificial animals.
