Anti-Corruption Khyber Pakhtunkhwa received complaints regarding embezzlement of government funds and irregularities in the tendering process for the General Bus Stand Munda in TMA Munda, Lower Dir.
During the inquiry, a detailed review of the relevant records revealed that the treasury suffered a loss of 14,804,786 rupees, out of which only 2,855,060 rupees were recovered, while 11,949,736 rupees remain unrecovered.
Based on the inquiry report, Anti-Corruption Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has registered an FIR. The FIR includes TMA Munda officials such as TMOs Fazal Subhan, Iqbal Hassan, Saifur Rahman (Collector), Fazal Hameed (Collector), Gul Muhammad (Retired Collector), Humayun (former Tehsil Nazim), and contractors Shah Saleem and Shah Zia.
Anti-Corruption Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has arrested the accused, Saifur Rahman (Collector), and efforts are ongoing to apprehend other suspects involved in the case.
