Al-Sadaat Social Movement Pakistan has urged the inspector general of police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to provide justice to the bereaved family of Syed Akbar Shah, who was allegedly tortured to death in the lock up.
Al-Sadaat Samaji Tehrik provincial leadership was addressing a news conference here on Monday at Bisham. Where members and office bearers of the Tehrik from all over the province were present.
Provincial president Al-Sadaat Samaji Tehrik, Noor Ul Haq Hashmi, said that murder of the Syed Akbar Ali Shah had defamed the entire police department and they want justice for their tribe man.
“We did not want to transfer DPO but justice for the bereaved family. Secondly, Zahir Shah and SDPO threatened the family to go back from the case and he killed 16 such people and no one can do with him,” He claimed.
He said they were not satisfied with the police inquiry and wanted judicial inquiry in the case as some senior police officers were influencing over the case investigation.
“We condemned alleged murder of Syed AKbar Shah in lock up and also inhuman treatment with Amir Tehkali at Peshawar,” He said and added that instead of issuance of statements and tall claims police officers should play their due and positive role in both cases for providing justice to the victims.
He demanded of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government to bear the education expenditure of the victim’s Syed Akbar Ali Shah children and get them educated the orphans.
