Pakistan Tehreek-I-Insaf blocked the Karakoram Highway for hours on Sunday against alleged rigging in the general elections held last month and demanded of the provincial government to probe the February 9, Alpuri incident through judicial inquiry.
On the call of PTI senior leadership as countrywide protest rallies were announced on Sunday, the PTI Shangla chapter arranged rallies in different tehsils of the district on Sunday and demanded judicial inquiry into the February 9 incident while declaring the district administration and police heads responsible for the tragedy in which two PTI workers were killed and 12 others were injured.
Pakistan Tehreek-I-Insaf tehsil chairman, Bisham, Sadeed Ur Rehman, tehsil chairman Alpuri, Waqar Ahmad Khan, Gul Hamrooz, Ikram Shah, HabibUr Rehman, Islam Zada, Ajmal Khan, Raja Sharafat Khan and others addressed the rally in Bisham.
Sadeed Ur Rehman said in his address that it had been proved that the Shangla administration and election commission changed the form 45 as in original forms PTI-backed NA-11 candidate, Saed Fareen had won the seat with 11,000 lead.
Referring the Bisham proper stations, results that a single station was not won by the PML-N and even his hometown Sair Dandai results were changed where PML-N had gotten very few votes.
“Our two innocent activists were killed on the orders of Amir Muqam and establishment and he was detained illegally on the night of February 8 when he insisted the DRO to not change the actual results and asked for original form 47,” Bisham tehsil chairman, Sadeed ur Rehman said.
He claimed they also won the PK-30 seat with 1100 margin and PK-28 too but the law enforcement agencies and DRO forcefully taken the seats from them and they still believe in the courts and anticipate that court would return the seats to actual winners.
Waqar Ahmad Khan, tehsil chairman, Alpuri said that Shangla police were behind the murders of two PTI workers who had opened indiscriminate fire at the innocent peaceful workers in Alpuri and they were wonder that how a murderer DPO transferred from Shangla without inquiry of the case.
He said the DRO, deputy commissioner, Shangla, Ziaur Rehman had planned this entire episode as he was working on the direction of Amir Muqam and handed over the NA-11 and PK-30 seats to his hands by changing all actual results of form 45 of which entire Shangla was ready for testimony.
The Karakoram Highway remained blocked for four hours and police contingents were deployed at the protest rally.
A rally was also held in the tehsil headquarters, Puran where PTI leaders, tehsil chairman, Abdul Maula, Rahmanullah and others addressed the rally and condemned the police behavior and demanded the KP government to probe the February 9 tragedy by judicial inquiry and ensure justice to both Mohsin and Hassan.
