Five killed, four injured as jeep plunges into ravine in Shangla

Including two women, five people were killed, and four others were injured when a mini jeep plunged into a ravine at Lainsok area of Chakesar tehsil in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Shangla district here on Thursday Evening.
The Rescue 1122 spokesperson, Rasool Khan Sharif, told The Northern Post that the mini jeep carrying 9 passengers was heading towards Lainsok when it reached the Kafar Morai area, the driver lost control over the steering, as a result, four people, including two women, were killed on the spot, while five others were injured.
He said they had shifted the injured to a nearby hospital where an injured succumbed to his injuries, while four others were shifted to a hospital in Swat for further treatment and one of them condition was critical.
