PESHAWAR Director General NAB (KPK) Farmanullah has said that character building is the prime responsibility of educational institutions.
This, he said, while addressing at a seminar at Government College of Management Sciences. The function was organized by the college in collaboration with NAB (KPK) to commemorate International Anti-Corruption Day. Director General NAB KP Farman Ullah Khan was the chief guest on the occasion. DG Commerce Education Prof. Muhammad Nadeem and Principal Govt College of Management Sciences Prof Dr. Shafique Shahid also spoke on the occasion.
Students expressed their views on the issue of corruption through English and Urdu Speeches and Skits. Students also sang national songs on the occasion. Addressing the participants, DG NAB KP Farman Ullah Khan stressed on the role of youth in nation building. To discourage corruption and put the country on the right direction, DG opined that Educational Institutions must be strengthened because it is here that future leaders are groomed. DG advised the students that besides extensive studies, they must focus on upright character. He also announced that Character
Building Societies will be established in Commerce Educational Institutions for character Building of future leaders. The function was followed by a walk in the premises of the College. The students were holding banners and play cards inscribed with Anti-Corruption slogan
