SHANGLA: The Shangla deputy commissioner, Hamid Ur Rehman has initiated inquiry against alleged gang over corruption (looting of candidates who applied for class-iv jobs) at the district headquarters hospital, Alpuri for which over 8000 candidates applied.
A circular issued by the DC Shangla, Hamid Ur Rehman, said that following the public complaints through social media about allegedly receiving money from those people who had applied for the different posts of class-iv advertised by the DHQ hospital, Alpuri.
It said that a group of some persons allegedly involved in receiving payments from candidates for providing class-iv jobs by allegedly introducing themselves as representatives of the government, however, strict action had been ordered against the gang and individuals for looting common people.
The circular said the additional deputy commissioner Finance was appointed focal person in the issue to whom people could submit their complaints regarding anyone who received payments or have evidences.
The DC Shangla also urged the Shangla people that to be careful regarding such Mafia (gang) and avoid paying a single penny to them as they had not any connection with the government.
Earlier this, minister for labor and culture and MPA elect from Shangla, Shaukat Yousafzai had directed to the administration for inquiry in the matter.
The process of recruitment of class-iv for the district headquarters hospital, Alpuri is underway for which over 8000 candidates had applied.
TEHSIL STATUS: The Kana tehsil has been given tehsil status from sub-tehsil by the chief minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mahmood Khan on Friday.
Minister for labor and culture, Shaukat Yousafzai, said on his request the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chief minister, Mahmood Khan had been upgraded sub-tehsil Kana of Shangla district to tehsil.
He said after the CM approval work on the documentation for the new tehsil had been started which would ease the life of Kana tehsil people and they would enjoy all facilities in their own area.
Meanwhile, after a long time waiting the construction and works department has issued project cycle map of the tehsil headquarters hospital, Bisham after its upgradtion to category C from D.
Dr Sanaullah, DMS at the THQ hospital, Bisham, said the hospital had been now upgraded to type C from type D after a long await and struggles of the local and minister for labor and culture Shaukat Yousafzai.
He said the C&W department had issued its new block construction project cycle PC1 for which Rs 823 million approved and 13 specialists doctors would also be appointed to the hospital.
