SHANGLA: Unknown assailants shot dead a police man at Martung area on the other day, who was on way to police station from his house in mid night.
According to the district police officer, Shangla, Malak Ihjaz Khan, a police personal identified as Muhammad Ali, who was serving in the police as special police constable, shot dead by unknown assailants when he was coming for his duty to police station Martung the other day mid night.
The DPO said that the slain police dead body was found next day from Kareen Khwar area and shifted to the nearby hospital and later laid to rest in his ancestral graveyard with official honour.
The district police head said it was unclear either it was terrorism incident or personal enmity, however the case had been shifted to counter terrorism department for investigation.
He said, hopefully the CTD would produce the investigations within a couple of day, however, the constable had personal disputes with local people.
