Protests rallies held in solidarity with Kashmir in Shangla, Kohistan

SHANGLA/KOHISTAN: Rallies were held in various tehsils of Shangla and Upper Kohistan on Friday to express solidarity with Kashmiris and condemn New Delhi’s withdrawal of special status of India-held Kashmir.
The main rally was held in the district headquarters Alpuri which led by the additional deputy commissioner Maqbool Hussain. AC Alpuri Fidaul-Karim, political leaderships, line department officials, teachers and students had taken part in the rally.
They were holding banners and placards inscribed with slogans against the Indian army’s atrocities on Kashmiris, also were shouting slogans in support of the Kashmiri people and demanded of the international community to raise voice against the Indian government for killing innocent people.
While addressing the rally, the protesters demanded of UN to play its role effectively and resolve the Kashmir dispute as per its resolutions.
The rallies were also held in Aloch Puran and other areas of the district.
In Kohistan, rally took out by district administration Upper Kohistan and expressed solidarity with Kashmir brethren.
The Deputy Commissioner Upper Kohistan, Muhammad Arif Khan led the rally, while heads of the all line department, social activists, teachers and schools students actively participated in it.
While carrying banners inscribed with slogans in support of Kashmir cause they chanted slogans against India for aggression in Held Kashmir.
