BESHAM: Sand suppliers have parked their material supplier vehicles protesting against the imposition of taxes on Sand site at Maira Bisham.
The sand suppliers also staged a protest at Maira demanding of the government to withdraw the order of imposing taxes on Sand sites located in the Maira area of Bisham tehsil.
They said, with the imposition of taxes on Sand would directly suffer the general public as well as transporters because the government has already increased the prices of the petrolioum products.
They warned the government unless it not withdrawn the imposition of taxes they would continue their strike of not supplying sand to the markets in Shangla, Kohistan, Torghar, and Battagram also to China-Pakistan Economic Corridor Projects.
