KARAK: Two brothers and their father were killed in Jangeri area of Takhti Nusranti in Karak district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa here on Sunday evening.
According to police due to a short quarrel with nephews after Iftari, a man opened fire on his nephews, injuring them critically, while in cross firing, one of injured shoot bullets at his father killing him on the spot, while the accused fled from the scene.
Police says, the injured Sabir and Shakir also succumbed of injuries while taking them to hospital.
The police added that the incident apparently seems of domestic dispute, however they have lodged an FIR and begins further interrogation int.
In a separate incident:
A local journalist, Muhammad Riaz Khatak, told The Northern Post that another tragic incident also took place in Shagai Lawaghar where including two women three were shot dead, in which husband his wife and daughter included and their dead bodies were brought to the DHQ hospital Karak, however further details could not be known initially.
