Pakistan defeated South Africa to take the ODI series

Pakistan secured a commanding 7 wicket victory over South Africa in the decisive final One-Day International (ODI) to wrap up the three-match series with a 2-1 margin.
The decisive victory secured a strong finish for the national team.
Pakistan comfortably chased down the 144-run target, reaching 144 for 3 in just 25.1 overs
The final ODI was dominated by a disciplined Pakistani attack, spearheaded by spinner Abrar Ahmed, whose impressive figures of 4 for 27 caused South Africa’s collapse.
Excellent support from Salman Ali Agha and Shaheen Afridi, who each chipped in with two wickets, ensured the Proteas were dismissed for a meager 143 runs in just 37.5 overs.
The only resistance came from opener Quinton de Kock, who scored a fighting 53 runs off 70 balls
Meanwhile in reply, Pakistan’s chase was anchored by young opener Saim Ayub, who played a brilliant knock of 77 runs off 70 balls, maintaining a high strike rate of 110 to set up the comfortable victory.
This victory sealed the 3-match ODI series for Pakistan with a 2-1 margin.
