Govt issues orders for major transfers and postings of Federal Secretaries

Key officers reshuffled across Finance, Defence, Industries, and Food Security divisions

Government of Pakistan and Provincial Department has issued the orders for transfers and postings of several officers in different organizations. The purpose of this notification is to maintain effective governance and improve the administrative functions.

District Education Officer

Provincial Department of Higher and Secondary Education has announced the transfer of two women District Education Officer (DEO). Ms. Shazia Rawaz, who was  appointed on the position of DEO (BPS-19) in District Khyber, has been transferred to Directorate of Elementary and Secondary Education Peshawar. In place of her, Ms. Samina Ghani has been appointed as DEO (women) from Mardan to District Khyber. Apart from this, the Mardan DEO (Men) has been given additional responsibility for Mardan DEO (Women) until the next orders.

Forest Department

Department of Climate Change, forests, environment and wildlife has withdrawn their notification of September 24, 2025 and issued new orders. Mr. Rafiq Ullah, DFO (BS-18) has been transferred from Upper Dir  to Battagram Forest Division. Mr. Asif Ali, who was in Patrol Squad of Malakand Visceral, has been appointed as Upper Dir DFO. He has also given the responsibility of Patrol Squad Malakand West Circle until next order.

Secretary Group Officers

  • The standing committee of establishment division (BS-20) in Islamabad has issued orders for the transfer of several officers of Secretary Group.
  • Mr. Muhammad Zahid Mustafa has been appointed as Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resources Development Division as Joint Sectetary from Cantt Divison.
  • Mr. Muhammad Muzaffar Khan has been transffered from Finance Division to Cantt Division as Joint Sectetary.
  • Mr. Shehzad Ahmed has been transferred from Industries and Production Division to Defence Division as Joint Secretary.
  • Syed Intekhab Alsm has been transfered from Privatization Division to National Food Security and Research Division as Joint Secretary.

Pakistan Administrative Service (PAS)

Establishment Division has also issued orders for two Pakistan Administrative Service (PAS) BS-19 officers.

  • Mr. Amir Ateeq Khan, who is under Gilgit-Baltistan government, has been appointed as Joint secretary in Industries and Production Division.
  • Syed Bilal Haider, who was Joint secretary in National Food Security and Research Division, has been ordered to report in Establishment Division.

Extension in Post of Permanent Secretary

Mr. Amir Maji-ud-Din, who is additional secretary in National Food Security and Research Division has been entrusted with the “current charge” of the post of Acting Secretary of the Division for a further period of three months from October 15, 2025. This post will remain until the next permanent secretary has been appointed.
