Pakistan launches ‘GO AI Hub’ with GO Telecom SA to accelerate digital transformation

This strategic partnership marks a new chapter in technological cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: In a landmark step towards realising the Prime Minister’s vision of a Digital Nation Pakistan, the Ministry of IT and Telecommunication Pakistan, with the Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB), has launched the GO AI Hub Pakistan in collaboration with GO Telecom – قو للاتصالات.

This strategic partnership marks a new chapter in technological cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, strengthening the brotherly ties between the two nations and driving forward shared goals of innovation-led growth.

Speaking at the launch, the Federal Minister for IT & Telecom, Ms Shaza Khawa, highlighted the importance of this initiative in empowering citizens and businesses alike:

“The GO AI Hub will unlock opportunities for our youth, catalyse the AI ecosystem, and ensure that the benefits of emerging technologies reach every citizen of Pakistan.”

The GO AI Hub Pakistan will focus on advancing research, capacity building, and industry collaboration in artificial intelligence — a critical step toward making Pakistan a regional leader in digital transformation.

The event was graced by the Ambassador to Pakistan from Saudi Arabia, His Excellency Nawaf Bin Said Al Malki and the CEO of GO Telecom – قو للاتصالات, Mr Yahya Saleh Al Mansour.

Beyond innovation, this collaboration is about people — creating jobs in emerging tech sectors, equipping youth with AI-driven skills, and enabling smarter public services that improve lives.
