BESHAM: People from different walk of life donated Rs 01 million for orphans and deserving people here during a Donner conference on Sunday at Bisham.
The conference was organized by Al-Khidmat foundation here in a local hotel, where provincial president of Al-Khidmat foundation Khalid Waqas, Jamat-I-Islami MPAs former MPAs and local stakeholder were present.
The Al-Khidmat’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa president Khalid Waqas on the occasion announced provision of ambulance and establishment of tests laboratory for Shangla.
He urged the local people to support poor people and orphans of their surroundings and it is a social responsibility of the every citizen.
About 22 wheel-Chairs were distributed among the physically challenged men on the occasion and Rs 01 million were collected for the foundation which will be spent in upcoming Ramazan on deserving people.
