Curfew imposed in Bajaur over security concerns from 11-13 August
Three-Day restrictions in Manda and Naogai; public advised to stock essentials by August 10
The District Administration of Bajaur has announced that, with the approval of the Home Department of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, a curfew will be imposed on several roads and areas in Bajaur due to safety concerns.
According to the details, a curfew will be in effect from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Khar Manda Road, Khar Naogi Road, Khar Pasht Salarzai Road, and Khar Sadiqabad Anayat Kali Road on 11 August 2025. Additionally, to ensure the safety and protection of the public during terrorist-targeted operations, a proper curfew will be in effect from 11 a.m. on August 11 to 11 p.m. on August 13 for three days in the Manda and Naogai areas.
During this curfew, the offices, roads, bazaar, and hotel will remain closed in the areas of Laghri, Gotki, Mandshah, Karim, Amanat Kali, Idak, Murgani, Chirghazi, Aling, Wang, Tenda, Dola, Sultan Bakk, Chautra, Khatki, Inayat Kali, Ansar, and Singer. Khar market and Manda market will also remain closed.
District Administration has also appealed to the public they fulfill their daily needs until 10 August. During curfew, any person leaving the home will be responsible for any legal action. The administration has also expressed gratitude to the public for their cooperation.
