A tragic incident occurred in the Dhok Chaudhrian Takht Padi area of Rawat police station in Rawalpindi, where a father allegedly shot his daughter after she refused to delete her TikTok account.
The victim has been identified as Mehak Shahzadi. According to police reports, the father demanded that his daughter delete her TikTok account. When she refused, he became angry and fatally shot her before fleeing the scene.
A case has been registered following the complaint of Head Constable Shahbaz Anjum Kiani. The police have since shifted the body for a postmortem examination and have collected evidence from the crime scene.
Authorities are currently searching for the accused, and police officials have expressed their regret over the incident, assuring the public that they are committed to arresting the suspect as soon as possible.
