Transgender Asad killed in Tehkal Peshawar
An uptick has been seen in recent months in murders of transgenders in Pakistan
A transgender identified as Asad shot dead in Peshawar’s Tehkal area on Tuesday night.
According to initial details, unidentified persons opened fire and killed a transgender named Asad in a plaza located within the limits of Tehkal police station.
Upon receiving the information, the local police immediately reached the spot and shifted the body to the morgue for post-mortem.
The police have collected important evidence from the crime scene and have started an investigation from various angles to trace the accused involved and find out the real facts.
