SHANGLA: Sultan-I-Sham elected village naib nazim at Navy kaly Shahpur by securing 197 votes in local body by-election held on Tuesday.
According to locals, Sultan-I-Sham had secured 197 votes, while his opponent Rahim Bar got just two votes.
They said the by-election held peacefully and women also turned up for vote and poled about 68 votes.
The election was declared null and void due to zero women turnout in the last by-election in which Sultan-I-Sham was also winner of the slot.
They added that it seemed that opponent candidate of the Sultan-I-Sham was not interested in the seat for second time election.
