Pakistan Muslim League announces restructuring and intra-party elections

Dr Amjad declares visits to Balochistan and KP to strengthen party organization

Pakistan Muslim League Chief Organizer, Dr. Muhammad Amjad, stated that the party is undergoing restructuring to strengthen its foundation and address workers’ concerns. He termed his organizational visits to Punjab and Sindh as successful and announced upcoming visits to Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He emphasized that intra-party elections will be held in April, and amendments to the party’s constitution will enhance its effectiveness, positioning Pakistan Muslim League as a leading political force.
He made these remarks while addressing the Central Working Committee meeting at Muslim League House. The meeting was attended by Central Information Secretary Ghulam Mustafa Malik, Ulema & Mashaikh Wing President Pir Chiraghuddin Shah, Traders Wing President Atif Mughal, PML Sindh President Tariq Hassan, Federal Capital President Rizwan Sadiq Khan, General Secretary Chaudhry Jahangir, Asif Hamdani, Fathana Shah, Aamna Saleem, Nazli Shujaat, Maria Azam, and others.
Dr. Amjad briefed the committee about his visits to Punjab and Sindh, stating that the party leadership will resolve workers’ grievances. He praised Tariq Hassan and his team for their exceptional work in Sindh, adding that PML is rapidly becoming more organized and active. He reaffirmed his commitment to visiting Balochistan and KP soon.
He also announced that the Women’s Wing will organize an event on March 8 to mark International Women’s Day.
Committee members, including Ghulam Mustafa Malik, Rizwan Sadiq Khan, Aneela Ayaz Chaudhry, Atif Mughal, and Jahangir Chaudhry, praised Dr. Amjad’s efforts in strengthening party organization.
The meeting strongly condemned the suicide attack at Darul Uloom Akora Khattak in Nowshera, offering prayers for the martyrs and the recovery of the injured. Additionally, members congratulated Dr. Amjad for being included in the “100 Best CEOs of Pakistan” book.
