A speeding bus traveling from Buner to Rawalpindi met an accident near Ghazi Interchange in Hazro Tehsil on Tuesday. The bus skidded off the road and overturned, resulting in the death of a 10-year-old girl on the spot and leaving nine others injured.
Upon receiving the alert, three Rescue 1122 ambulances quickly arrived at the scene. The body of the deceased girl and the injured were transported to Tehsil Hospital Hassan Abdal. Unfortunately, two more individuals succumbed to their injuries at the hospital, raising the death toll to three.
The cause of the accident is yet to be determined, but initial reports suggest that speeding and loss of control may have been contributing factors. Local authorities have launched an investigation into the incident.
Rescue officials and hospital staff are working to provide the necessary medical care to the injured, while the families of the deceased mourn their loss.
