Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan Engr. Amir Muqam’s Special Address to Pakistani Business Community at Pakistan High Commission Malaysia.

Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan Engr. Amir Muqam said that the record increase in foreign remittances reflects the strong determination of overseas Pakistanis to play their role in the development of the country.

During a special address to the Pakistani business community at the Pakistan High Commission Malaysia, Federal Minister Engr. Amir Muqam highlighted the brotherly and pleasant relations of Malaysian Prime Minister Dr. Anwar Ibrahim with Pakistan and praised him.

On this occasion, Pakistan’s High Commissioner to Malaysia Syed Ahsan Raza Shah, prominent Pakistani businessman Farooq Ahmed, and other distinguished business personalities were also present.

In his address as the chief guest, he highly appreciated the overseas Pakistanis and the business community for sending remittances to Pakistan.

The Federal Minister said that he is deeply grateful to High Commissioner Syed Ahsan Raza Shah and other officers and staff of the embassy for giving him the opportunity to meet and interact with the Pakistani brothers residing in Malaysia.

Engr. Amir Muqam said that as the Minister for Kashmir Affairs, he considers it necessary to speak on Pakistan’s Kashmir policy, stating that under the leadership of Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, the current government is highlighting the Kashmir issue on all international platforms, including the United Nations General Assembly. He highly appreciated the efforts.

The Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs said that Pakistan will continue its political, moral, and diplomatic support for the Kashmiri people until they achieve their right to self-determination in accordance with the United Nations resolutions.

Engr. Amir Muqam said that in this regard, we observe Youm-e-Istehsal (5th August), Youm-e-Siyah (27th October), and Kashmir Solidarity Day (5th February) every year. Last week, we observed Kashmir Solidarity Day across Pakistan and the world with great enthusiasm.

Engr. Amir Muqam said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, all economic indicators of Pakistan have turned positive, investment is coming into the country, and Pakistan’s economic growth is now being recognized globally. The government’s efforts have drawn global attention towards Pakistan.

Earlier, Pakistan’s High Commissioner to Malaysia Syed Ahsan Raza Shah met with Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs, Gilgit-Baltistan, and SAFRON Engr. Amir Muqam. Prominent Pakistani businessman Farooq Ahmed was also present during the meeting. Various matters related to the Pakistani business community were discussed in the meeting. The Federal Minister appreciated the High Commission for effectively facilitating the Pakistani community.
