Pashtun Tahafuz Movement (PTM) chief, Manzoor Pashteen has said in a first ever rally in Shangla that the Shangla poor labour burns in the coalmines and their mother, wives receive their dead bodies but unfortunately no one passed a bill in the assemblies for the safety and welfare of coalminers and always been ignored by the state from their rights despite it produce millions of rupees electricity on daily basis.
The Pashtun Tahafuz Movement, PTM chief was addressing his first ever meeting turned rally in Aloch, Puran, Shangla on Tuesday night. Rahmanullah Khan, a local political activist welcomed Manzor Pashteen and informed the audience about the agenda of meeting which was they told a Pashtun nation meeting scheduled to be held on October, 11 for the rights of Pakhtuns.
Faiz Muhammad Khan, Sultan Rome Advocate, Muhammad Hassan and other political leaders, activists spoke on the occasion and pledged to be attending the Pakhtun nation Jirga.
PTM leader said the only objective of their struggle was to secure the rights of Pakhtuns and force the state to stop human rights violations against Pakhtun nation and ensure provision of their fundamental rights as well as the right of their resources and particularly peace on their land.
“If we are united, no one can dare to sabotage peace of our region but unfortunately we are not united but today we are striving to gather Pakhtuns on a same page to backlash the enemies conspiracies and genocide of Pashtuns we no longer tolerate taking bodies of our loved ones,” Mr Pashteen said.
He said they came here to Shangla as he visit different districts to gather and united the Pakhtuns nation and to invite them at the event to be organized on October 11 to respond to the state against injustices.
PTM chief questioned why always Pashtun land targeted on the name of so called terrorism and today in south and Balochistan mothers, wives, brothers, daughters, sons waiting for the return of their loved ones.
He said Pashtun never abducted anyone nor killed anyone on the name of terrorism but why always Pakhtuns were being killed and even no one know their murderer and nor justice given.
Mr Pashteen further emphasized that he called every leader, notable irrespectively of political affiliations and bar associations office bearers, journalists from across the region to the Pakhtun Qami Jirga where each and every profession person would express their issue and suggestion and the agenda would be formed later on the day.
He said the over 80 camps would be established different sectors and from different districts and those camps would write down their write ups about the issues and demand and suggestions to raise that demands from the state and force the state to ensure their rights and peace.
