Women Sports Forum organized “Jashan-i-Azadi Women’s Football Tournament” on the occasion of Independence Day in Naya Nazimabad Football Ground with the support of Naya Nazimabad Karachi Society in which Chief Guest MNA Dr. Farooq Sattar, his wife Shahida Farooq and Naia Nazim Bad. Gymkhana Club President Mohammad Ali Talha were present there. They encouraged the organizers of the tournament, Women Sports Forum Founder Varuoonh Pirzadu, Coordinator Fouzia Jamil , Faiza Shahab and others they shook hands with the players and encouraged the them. Teams from different districts participated in the tournament, the first match, Lyari and MUK Sports Club tied after the toughest competition, then the match between Hazara Sports Club and Lyari team was won by Hazara by zero and one goal. Third match was between the teams Haraza Club and MUK Club were the winner, in the third match Hazara and MUK club team won the match with one and zero match, thus in the competition between the two winners, MUK team won the final with one on zero goal decleared and named the tournament. The residents of the area also showed great interest to watch the Tournament, which increased the enthusiasm of the participating teams. At the end of the tournament, certificates were distributed to the outstanding players and all the participating players, The trophies were presented to the winner and runner-up teams.
