An accused arrested in a murder case confessed the murder of his brother, who had strangulated his brother at Dandai area in the month of February to marry his sister-in-law (Brother spouse) who was struggling to divorce the slain.
Station House Officer, Muhammad Arif Khan told journalists that Muhammad Rehman, resident of Mansehra body was found in his pickup on February 22 who was strangulated, later the slain man father claimed that his son probably be murdered by his spouse brothers with the help of his another son.
SHO said followed by the statement of the slain man father, they lodged FIR and launched interrogation and arrested the accused from Mansehra.
He said their investigation interrogated the accused including the slain man wife who had filed divorce case in the court and intended to marry her husband’s younger brother.
SHO said the woman was sent to judicial lock up and the deceased brother Muhammad Suliman was interrogated and he had confessed the murder stated that he had strangulated his brother with the support of his sister-in-law (Bhabi) brothers Abdul Majeed and Ali Akbar.
He said the accused also recorded his statement in the court and he was sent to judicial lock up.
