Joining forces for a greener digital future: Focus on energy-efficient networks, sustainable ICT infrastructure

The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) and the Ministry of Climate Change & Environmental Coordination (MoCC&EC) have signed a landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) today at PTA Headquarters to advance Green ICT, promote responsible e-waste management, and foster climate-resilient digital infrastructure across Pakistan.
The collaboration underscores PTA’s leadership in aligning digital transformation with environmental sustainability through coordinated policy development, knowledge sharing, and joint initiatives. Key focus areas include energy-efficient telecom networks, sustainable ICT infrastructure, and capacity-building programs to drive eco-friendly innovation.
