Instagram introduces new feature of ‘Watch History’ for reels

The highly-requested feature allows users to easily find and rewatch any Reel they've seen in the last 30 days

Instagram has launched a new feature of “Watch History” for reels on the demand of its users. With this feature, users will be able to find all reels watched within the limit of past 30 days.

Instagram owner Adam Mosori has announced this feature and said that this feature will work same as it works for TikTok and YouTube. He also said, “Now, you will be able to see each reel you have watched in an organized grid. You will be able to arrange the according to date and the creator.”

How to access Wach History?

To access watch history or to see your previous reels, follow these easy steps:

  • Go to your Instagram profile
  • Tab on the Hamburger Menu, the three dots present on the top right corner.
  • Then go to Your Activity
  • Scrool down and select Watch History.

Features and it’s Benefits

The following facilities are given to the users, in this feature:

  • Reels can be seen from new to old and old to new sequence
  • Reels can be specifically filtered for creators.
  • Reels can be found according to date, like last week, last month, or a specific date
  • If needed, users can delete any reel from their Watch History
