PTI issues formal notification to suspend 13 assembly members

PTI expels 13 GB lawmakers, including CM Gulbar Khan, for 'serious disloyalty'; show-cause notice issued to another

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has taken decisive action against 13 dissident members of the Gilgit-Baltistan Assembly, including Chief Minister Haji Gulbar Khan, removing them from the party for alleged betrayal and violations of party discipline.
According to the official notifications issued by the Central Additional General Secretary, the expelled members are accused of forming a forward bloc during a critical period, voting against party lines, and engaging in activities deemed as serious disloyalty.
The members expelled from PTI include Haji Gulbar Khan, Raja Azam, Raja Nasir Ali Khan, Syed Amjad Zaidi, Dilshad Bano, Suraya Zaman, Haji Shah Baig, Mushtaq Ahmed, Shams Lone, Abdul Hameed, and Maulana Fazlur Rahim.
The notification strictly prohibits these individuals from using the party’s name, flag, or positions in any capacity, warning that any violation will result in strict legal action.
PTI has also issued a show-cause notice to Raja Jalal, citing allegations that he conspired to weaken the party during a difficult time by encouraging members of the Gilgit-Baltistan Assembly to defect and align with the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) government. The notice demands an explanation from Raja Jalal within two days. Failure to respond may result in further disciplinary action by the party.
It may be recalled that two other dissident assembly members, including Fatehullah Khan, had already been expelled from PTI earlier.
