Everything you need to know about Google’s new smart home devices

Google has finally announced the date of release of Gemini AI in smart home devices. Company has confirmed it by sharing a post on its official X (Twitter) account which says, “Gemini is coming on Google Home from October 1”. This advertising message has also indicated to new NEST camera, which shows that coming days eill be important for software updates along with new hardware devices.

Gemini New Abilities

Gemini integration will mean that google assistant will be replaced with more powerful and smart voice assistant. It will provide oppertunity to customers to give more complex orders in their regional language, like “Switch off all the lights, except bedroom”. Besides this, Gemini Live feature will allow its customers a smart speaker and talk naturally and continuously with AI display. It can answer the questions related to camera history and can help in arranging automations.

Wait for New Hardware Devices

According to reports, Google is going to update its new nest hardware with a new range. A new Google Home speaker is expected in new devices, which will have Gemini and give 360 degree sound. It will be filled with latest technology like HDR 2 resolution and 6x digital zoom. A new wired outdoor camera and an updated NEST doorbell are also expected to be launched, which will provide summary of whole day through Gemini AI.

Changes in Subscription Services

Withh all these surprises, Google is also changing the name of its subscription. The current “NEST ovaire” name will be changed to “Google Home Premium“. A high quality plan with the name “Google Home Premium Advanced” is also being introduced. Still, there is no information related to the prices of these new devices.
