KP police appoint sons of martyred personnel in Bannu
DIG Bannu hands over posting letters, vows continued support for martyrs' families
IG Khyber Pakhtunkhwa appoints children of police personnel martyred during service to the Police Department on merit. DIG Bannu congratulated them and handed over their posting letters. The families of the martyrs expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the IG Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and DIG Bannu.
According to details, the Inspector General of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police appointed the children of police officers who were martyred in the line of duty as Junior Clerks in the police department on merit basis. This initiative aims to provide them with respectable employment and ensure financial support for their families.
DIG Bannu Sajjad Khan congratulated the appointed individuals and handed over their posting letters. On the occasion, DIG Bannu said:
This appointment may not be a substitute for the great sacrifices made by your parents, but it is a humble tribute to honor their service. The Police Department will never forget its martyrs and will always stand by their families at every step.
It is worth mentioning that the following children of the martyrs have been appointed to the Police Department:
Constable Salahuddin, who was martyred on August 28, 2008 in a suicide attack in Lakki Marwat.
Constable Qadeer Khan, who was martyred on February 11, 2009 during a terrorist firing incident while on patrol.
Head Constable Imam Khan, who was martyred on July 8, 2016 in a targeted killing.
Assistant Sub-Inspector Alam Din, who embraced martyrdom on November 16, 2022.
This initiative by the Police Department reflects its firm commitment that the sacrifices of martyrs will never be forgotten, and their families will never be left alone.
