A female climber from Czech republic Klara Kolouchova (Polackova) died after she fell into a ravine during return from Nanga Parbat base camp on Thursday.
According to Additinal Deputy Commissioner Diamer Nizamuddin, a foreign female climber fell from a height between Camp One and Camp Two.
The location of the female climber will be traced. Once the location is known, it will be decided how to start the recovery work.
The people who were with the female climber came to the base camp and informed that the woman had died.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Diamer said that there were difficulties in communicating with the base camp earlier, so initial reports were that the woman died due to an oxygen cylinder explosion, however, it was later confirmed that she fell into a gorge, which led to her death.
