Police neutralise wanted criminal in Lakki Marwat operation

One officer injured during exchange of fire; weapons recovered from suspect's hideout

During a search and strike operation by Dadiwala Police in Lundi Wah area of Lakki Marwat, a raid was conducted on the hideout of wanted criminals/snatchers and extortionists. During the raid, an exchange of fire took place. In the police encounter, a wanted criminal/snatcher and extortionist named Faheem Ullah was killed, while one of his accomplices was reportedly injured. Weapons were recovered.One police constable was also injured in the exchange of fire.

According to details, on the directives of DIG Bannu Sajjad Khan and under the supervision of DPO Lakki Marwat Jawad Ishaq, Dadiwala Police carried out a search and strike operation against criminal elements. During the operation, a raid was conducted on the hideout of proclaimed offenders and snatchers in Lundi Wah. To avoid arrest, the suspects opened fire on the police party.

The police, in self-defense, returned fire. Once the firing ceased, during the search operation, the wanted criminal/snatcher and extortionist was found dead, while one of his accomplices was reportedly injured. A search operation has been launched to arrest the injured suspect.

The deceased was wanted by police in multiple serious cases. One police constable, Shahzad, was also injured in the exchange of fire. He was immediately shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital in Bannu, where he is currently under treatment.
